Green Valley has been a full service Roofing & Siding Contractor in the Quad Cities since 2001. We've grown steadily, due largely to the fact that customers have been extremely generous in recommending Green Valley to friends and neighbors. Today, we serve the entire Mississippi Valley region around the Quad Cities, with satisfied customers in Bettendorf, Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, and nearly every nearby town, from Aledo to Muscatine, Milan to Clinton, and beyond. We also tuck-point chimneys and other brickwork above the roof line. We're 100% locally owned and operated, with some of the most stringent training requirements of any contractor in the region. We think it's important for you to be able to call us and talk to someone who can give you answers. We welcome calls and invite you ask about any of the services we offer. If it's on your home's exterior, we can help, from virtually any type of Roofing imaginable (including Commercial Roofing), to Siding, Windows, Doors, Gutters, and Gutter Guards. We also install skylights!

If you happen to call during lunch or over a break, know that we do return calls promptly and cheerfully. If you call after our 9 to 5 business hours, we'll call back the next day. If it's an emergency, leave a message and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.

Straight talk about the money

We offer a complete and detailed FREE written estimate for your proposed project. A more detailed written estimate is good because it helps avoid misunderstandings later on. We don’t believe it’s professional to simply write a figure on the back of a business card, or give verbal quotes. Frankly, we believe you deserve more than that. You are contemplating spending your hard earned dollars on our service and we understand how important that is to you. You can trust that your project is important to us as well.

Our Written Estimate will contain a breakdown of the project details and other useful information including:
Approximate project time length & projected start date.
Specific details describing how the project will progress, things to expect, and other helpful information.
Exact costs and payment expectations
License numbers with contact telephone numbers for state licensing agencies so you can check the validity of a company (this is specific to roofing).

At Green Valley Roofing Siding Windows we respect our clients time schedules and understand they may be taking time out of their day to meet with us. We pledge to respect our client's schedule and arrive on time for our appointments.

We are licensed, bonded and insured

Licensing is required at the state level to contract roofing in Illinois and Iowa. State law is less strict for siding, gutters, and other segments of construction. Several specific reasons exist for the additional regulation in the roofing industry, but protecting the consumer from inexperienced, unscrupulous “contractors” is the main reason.

Potential roofing contractors must meet requirements of business registry, bonding, insurance, and are also required to pass a detailed written examination. The examination covers state and federal law, OSHA Regulations, estimating and reading blueprints, low-slope(flat) roofing, steep slope roofing, and roof repair knowledge. The application process takes approximately 6 to 9 months for approval.

Green Valley Construction, Inc. is serious about the business of improving and protecting our clients biggest asset - their home. We hold one of the most difficult to attain construction licenses in the country - the Illinois Unlimited Roofing License. This license allows us to obtain building permits for ANY type of roof in the state and is held by less then 10% of all Roofing Contractors. We are also a licensed, bonded, and insured roofing contractor in Illinois, and Iowa.

Green Valley Construction Inc's Showroom is located at 3412 State St. in Bettendorf, IA so it is worth noting we are also a licensed, bonded and insured roofing contractor in cities Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, and Moline as well as a licensed, bonded and insured roofing contractor in the rural areas throughout Scott County, Henry County, Mercer County, and Rock Island County.

Green Valley Construction, Inc always has an active 2 million dollar general liability policy and bond. We never let this insurance lapse. We also carry Workman's Compensation Insurance on our employees. Please feel free to ask us for proof of insurance.

We are committed to providing our clients with quality products and workmanship. We back that up with our Written Warranties. Length of Warranty varies from project to project and is always specified on the original Contract/Proposal.

Good To Know:

What's the difference between Architectural and 3-tab roof shingles?

Architectural shingles (Arcs) are generally considered better because:

Arcs have a higher wind resistence. (this can save on repair costs later on)
Arcs are a heavier, thicker shingle.
Arcs have a longer warranty (Arcs start with 30 year warranties to lifetime)
Many Arcs, like our Owens Corning shingles, are algae resistant. Algae resistant shingles will look good longer than other shingles.
Most people (including us) feel Arcs look more appealing.
Arcs do not cost that much more than the 3-tabs.
